Freeriding Video Gallery

Videos of me, my brother and mates freeriding only under our old name Team Majic. No professional copyrighted movies here! All video music is credited at the end of each video. The oldest video (very old!) is at the top and the newest at the bottom.

The Stack Run (The crash)

The first video. The crash! Now affectionately called 'the stack run' in Irchester Country Park quarry. The location marker on the youtube video is precise to the nearest metre to where I hit the dirt, if you wish to visit the place to ride.

The Large Berm & Tree Arch Run

The large berm doesn't necessarily hold much video value but the tree arch run always makes me take a deep breath watching as it is a very tight and fast exit. The video is not sped up at all. It was such a fun run I went and re-rode it in the summer of 2009 - a little faster!

The Mega Speed Gully Run

I'm filmed nearly hitting a tree hidden behind the one in the forefront of the video. Filmed in Irchester Country Park. The mental guy taking the piss out of chavs in the intro is Ollie.

The Hope Show

The Hope brothers filmed at Irchester Country Park. Hell yeah the quality may not be great but we weren't intending on using the footage until we had a funny idea ... as you'll see.

Chickshore & Jumps

An old video showing one of the first times we rode the chickshore at Chicksands and doing tiny jumps! Cute!

Chicksands Ladder Drops

Team Majic at Chicksands ladder drops (now the 'old' ladder drops) on our first day ever at Chicksands. Footage of the new drops hit with more confidence are on the video 'Keeping Up Appearances' on my account.

The Ladder Drop - Rodeo Version! (Contains language not for the easily offended!)

My bizarre rodeo-style mishap on the ladder drop at Chicksands. Unfortunately youtube lost a little of the quality. If you know me & feel you should be priviledged enough to be sent a top-notch quality, just ask!!

Keeping Up Appearances

Ollie & Jon at Chicksands, Bedfordshire, UK. Was a video posted just to keep up appearances whilst we were planning some big things on video. (See below comment for more details.)

As the above video comment states we were keeping up video appearances with standard riding whilst we planned grander videos. We prepared many larger jumps involving huge road gaps and cliff hucks at a new venue. At the end of a few days of preparation and practice, my brother had a serious crash whilst me and him were purposefully over-shooting the intentional landing on a road gap. Matt was slightly off-line on take-off, which after being airborne for somewhere over 35 feet, he landed with extra gravity-assisted speed and no time or traction to slow down or turn. Being in a forest this resulted in a head-on collision with a very unforgiving tree. I had to rush my brother to a local hospital with a head injury (despite a Troy Lee full-face helmet taking the brunt of the impact). He fully recovered a week or so after but since then he has not got back on his bike and we are yet to resume biking as a team.

Plans are now afoot! ...
